External IP address
External IP address
Public IP address and remote-access configuration for business networks. We assess provider options and configure access for CCTV, servers or other services with appropriate firewall rules and VPN protection.
Description
External IP (White/Static) – CG-NAT connection and solution in Kazakhstan
Public IP and remote access configuration in Astana, Almaty and across Kazakhstan. We assess connectivity for servers, 1C, cameras and other services behind CGNAT.
If your ISP uses a shared public address, ordinary inbound port forwarding may not work. We check whether a public IP, VPN or another suitable connection method is available, then configure access for the agreed services.
What is CG-NAT and why does it not work?
CG-NAT (Carrier-Grade NAT) is when hundreds of customers sit under one shared IP. You don’t have an external IP, you’re behind the NAT wall. Ports don’t open, tunnels break. RDP and cameras don’t connect, games don’t create a server.
So far, CG-NAT has no external access.
Public IP vs Gray IP – What’s the Difference
| Public IP | Open ports, RDP, cameras, 1C, games – everything works. |
| Gray IP (CG-NAT) | Ports closed, no remote access |
| Static public IP | Permanent address – for business, servers, VPN |
